STELLAR AwardsWelcome to 2010!  Why not start off the new year by submitting an entry for STELLAR Awards?  The STELLAR Awards provide a means to recognize educators for excellent use of NASA STEM materials in classrooms or informal settings.  In our first theme, Bringing NASA Missions to Your Classroom, NASATalk asks educators to describe how you’ve used NASA human space flight opportunities and products in your instruction to inspire, motivate, or otherwise engage your students.  Educators reflect, describe, and share strategies they used to integrate NASA resources in their teaching.

The deadline for the Bringing NASA Missions to Your Classroom STELLAR Award Themes is extended until January 11, 2010.  Teacher applications will be captured in the STELLAR Awards Entry Form.  The STELLAR Award for a first place winner is a $100 stipend. Additionally, two honorable mentions offer a $50 stipend for each award. We anticipate selecting STELLAR award winners monthly.
