NASA Professional Development Videoconferencing Program Receives Distance Learning AwardDLN wins Distance Learning Platinum Award

NASA's Digital Learning Network™, which provides science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) content featuring NASA missions and research, recently received a Platinum Award for Best Content Provider For Excellence in Distance Learning from the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) at its 2012 International Conference held in May 2012 in St. Louis, Missouri. NASA Digital Learning Network received the 2012 Best Practices Award for Excellence in Distance Learning Teaching.

NASA Announces 2012 Summer of Innovation Mini-Grants Opportunity

NASA is accepting proposals for the mini-grants component of the agency's 2012 Summer of Innovation project. Proposals may be submitted through the National Space Grant Foundation for NASA-themed content in a variety of programs geared toward middle school students. The foundation is administering the grant program for NASA. The maximum award value for each 2012 mini-grant is $2,500.
